How is KPMG India ? Someone reached out for strategy team at Customer & Operations for financial services practice.
I was told they specifically cater to Indian clients.
Please guide me with the following -
What is the traveling expectation, how are the hours, do we need to work on weekends?
How much salary and designation I can expect.
Current Ctc 30L, Infosys consulting, senior consultant. Expecting 10% hike in August/September.
Thanks in advance.

The irony of this post
*ironic. I think they’re remarking on the fact that someone in comp probably has access to comp data.
Definitely not. Company size, industry, location will all be factors as well!
Of course 2 years is considered early career, most of us work 40+ years in total
What do you expect to get paid? A benefits specialist is much lower on the totem pole than an actuarial analyst and an actuary with 2 YOE will make less than you in Canada if you convert 70k USD to CAD.
Sorry to inform you but not everyone gets $100,000+ right out of university like so many new grads come to expect nowadays. Let me also tell you - a Benefits Specialist with 25 years probably would be lucky to crack $100,000 in Canada for what it’s worth. That’s like just a bit more than your USD current salary.
No way. I think you'll probably be able to start your career around 70k (depending on cost of living) and could be making upwards of 150k once you've been in the job for a while.
Thanks!
Nah that would be for pretty early career.
This is insane. I'm getting very underpaid
It seriously depends where you work, and if you’re in consulting or industry. For consulting it’s highly underpaid, for industry I can see it being on par
Also years of experience counts here too! I suggest looking on Glassdoor for similar positions
Do you have a designation yet?
Specialist title tells me the role is an individual contributor and likely on the lower end of the career ladder path of comp. The range would depend what is your company oversight and breadth. Like a company of 20 folks or say a Fortune 500 company or tech.
