If the other person is barely trying you should walk. You can’t fix a relationship by yourself
If you’re unhappy, walk away. I walked away from an 8 year relationship (2 years married) with an 8 month old because my “partner” did nothing to repair the relationship. My child and I are so much better off now that it’s the two of us. And I’ve been in a relationship with an incredible person for over a year now. Don’t let fear stop you from being happy.
Congratulations!
My ex-boyfriend dumped me after 10 years, 2 years after I started at EY. I knew I should have ended things sooner, but I too was afraid. But him leaving was the best thing that happened to me. It takes two people to make a relationship work. I met my fiancé six months later. Have hope. ♥️
I said it !!! I finally told him how I feel and this is not working out. I cant repair the damage myself especially when I’m not the one who caused the damage. I felt so relieved!! He said he would like it to work out, but he’s ok to end it if that’s what I’m thinking about. I have cried countless times during the relationship, now it’s just doesn’t hurt anymore....
Feel free to PM me if you need as well!! I am here to be sympathetic if you want to vent or talk through what helped me with my breakup. Life really sucks sometimes but it’ll get better! Hope you get well soon too!
Why are you trying so hard to make this relationship work? If you can’t trust the guy and like Tax Partner 1 said, if you’re the only one putting in effort, walk.
You are strong! Good for you! Going though a breakup now. Rediscover yourself
Good luck to you too
I’m just afraid with this job, i won’t have time to date or find someone
☹️ I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to sound condescending with my question - I genuinely wanted to know and wasn’t judging.
Then I guess it depends - do you think it’s better to be in this relationship that seems to be sucking your energy and time or to be single?
Can’t tell you what to do but personally, I really valued my single life and yeah, while it was a little lonely sometimes going to weddings alone, it was also really great making all sorts of connections with people because I had so much more time. Lonely isn’t always a bad thing. For me, I felt like being lonely in a relationship was worse.
