Is it okay to ask for a start date on a new gig 6-8 weeks in the future? My notice period is 2 weeks but I want to close a couple of deals and make sure I am paid on them before I leave to the new place! Also shall I be transparent about why I want it that long?

Hey fishes. I have been offered Management Consultant role with CTC break up in terms of JB, RB, fixed and variable. So is the fixed amount my gross salary without any other deduction except TDS, or will the organisation contribution to PF be also deducted from the fixed component? Also, will claimable components like LTA, mobile bill reimbursement etc. be in addition to this fixed component or will they be included in it?

MD told us today he’s resigning and team future is unsure (I’m in industry now). Advice? I’m in shock & unsure how to plan... Also if any MBBs wanna throw a referral figured I’d shoot my shot ha.

I have got Pre hire survey 10 days back from D (requesting for payslip upload and CTC sheet upload) but I haven't heard back anything after that from them. I have a joining into accenture in next 10 days.

Am I being still considered by D (if not I will atleast join acc) , if so how long it will it take from Pre hire survey to offer release usually in D (for consultant position ) ??

There budget was upto 10 when i asked but feels like they playing me for my desperation to start working.
