Not receiving a raise for two years is sadly not uncommon, especially if your company is not prioritizing salary increases or if there are economic constraints. However, in many industries, including consulting, regular salary reviews and adjustments are typical to keep pace with inflation and industry standards. Top consulting firms even provide significant raises with promotions, which typically occur every 2-4 years, so you could definitely talk about that to your manager and see what they have to say in response.
Unless the pay is really great I would leave and do something less workload
Less than 3% of our employees didn't get a raise this year. We're not a giant company but solidly medium-sized.
I have never kept a job for more than a year without getting a raise, I've always job hopped for more money.
Your total lifetime earnings depends heavily on making gain in your salary every year. If you sleep on this you will hamstring yourself and have to work many more years to make the same amount of money.
