Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable
Thoughts on these?

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone who has recently resigned from ibm? When you initiare a separation process from workday, it goes to manager for approval. I asked HR and there is a due date mentioned on that process. Does that mean that if manager does not approve before the due date, my resignation is declined? What is the impact and what is meant by that due date? IBM

I had COVID-19 the 3rd week of March....Antibody test taken on 9/11/20 came back positive. So antibodies can last at least up to 6 months apparently.

As D1 said, we don’t know enough - antibodies may help with decreasing severity if you get re-infected by the same virus type, if it’s like your usual virus, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re immune (especially asthe virus continues to mutate).

If you think you have it then just treat it like so. Tests could be wrong due to variables and taking precautions would be great for you and others.
Regular colds and flus still exist, covid didn’t put them on hold.

They’re not always accurate.
The antibody tests are super unreliable still, aren’t they?
Rising Star
Yeah. In this case they don't have good FP rates and they don't tell you anything about the level of antibodies in your system.
There are methods to be more accurate and get the antibody level, but they are they are too expensive and time consuming so they are used only in studies.

I think it’s possible I had Covid in late February. I just had my annual checkup and my PCP said antibodies aren’t likely to still show up after this many months.
FWIW, I had a negative diagnostic test and negative antibody test. When I landed in the ER, the doctor thought it was probably a false negative.
My wife tested positive for covid via a nose swabs test. She was very sick. We did not socially distance and I felt sick for 3 days. We both took multiple antibody tests that were all negative. My wife donated plasma and the res cross called and said your plasma has no antibodies. Go figure
Rising Star
Sound like a false negative or you didn't develop enough antibodies (or both)
Yes and yes to both comments. But I won’t even lie, I’ve been going to dinner in the past few weeks and I got really sick in January so I was expecting it to be positive.....I’m both relieved and afraid

I got really sick in early early March right after my partner traveled last week of feb and got sick, everyone else he was around got sick too. We all thought we had it. He had an antibody test as well and was also negative. Who the hell even knows anymore.
Chief
Exactly what PM1 said-if you had COVID, the antibodies only a last a couple of months so they are likely gone by now
I never tested positive though :( it was before we even knew Covid was a thing
My friend and his wife both went and got tested. She was positive and he was negative..... both lived in the same house, neither remembers being sick.
🤷🤷🤷🤷
Your swears != Actual fact

C1 false on antibody test. They're really poor tests. Should really only be used to check population frequency.
And in either case it's still a probability not a fact
The antibody test isn’t 100% accurate. Don’t take it too much to heart. My fiancé is a nurse and his roommate works for a company who makes the tests for COVID, and they’ve both noted how unreliable the antibody tests are.
My dad came back positive last month and negative this month! I had covid before him and still came back positive! It’s either not reliable or our body deals with this virus differently.
