My home office is my favorite room in my entire house. I spend a lot of my non-working hours in there too. My husband thinks I’m nuts. 😂 Tell me I’m not the only one.

You have more screens than I did when I was a hedge fund trader. How on earth do you need that many screens? Do you watch movies while you work?

Oh and I turn Alexa off during my work hours.

Same here! Not enough screens

I make an effort to not spend time in my home office outside of work hours, but if it works for you, great.

I love your mousepad though, that's hilarious!

Lol the 2 on the left are for work, then I use my personal laptop for Netflix or Hulu (I have to have noise while I work) my Mac is used for research and tracking my tasks/notes/etc because I am addicted to Notion. It’s also used for my writing (I write on the side) when I have downtime or lunch and my iPad is used for various things but mostly keeping my gmail open because it uses too much memory on my Mac. Lol 😂 I love a lot of screens 🤷‍♀️😂 Oh and I turn off my Alexa during work hours.

Why so few screens? 😏

funny

Lol I know I really need more! 😂

It looks like you might be getting a bit too comfy, but whatever works. I hope you have a UPS backup for all that! I’m my old house it would pop a fuse for certain. I prefer the curved large monitor believing that context switching is a diminishing return for the mind. And still addicted to a white board for misc doodles and disposal thoughts/reminders. 😜

Depending on budget, they can be all over the place price wise. Yes, it’s 400 now, but watch for sales. It went down to 330, which I where I pounced. Worth every penny.

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.

So here are my questions.

How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.

When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks in advance!

Hey beautiful people,
I’m 27Y and work in tech. Unfortunately my carpal tunnel is getting worst slowly. I’m worry that I still have like 45 years more to be retired and can’t stop working because I have a f* mortgage to pay 😭 I have a super ergonomic workstation, but I know my hand needs a long rest, and I can’t do it… Does anyone relate? Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. It was such a beautiful relationship but ultimately he just didn’t love me. I love him so much. My mind knows that I deserve reciprocal love and I’m worthy, but I feel physically ill. My body hurts, my stomach is in knots, my head hurts. How is it that I have to mend a broken heart but also meet my billable hours lmao

1) there were obvious favorites (coaches are not even hiding that fact);
2) some can’t even play and got on the team,
3) some that can obviously play but did not get on the team;
4) decision were obviously made before the first day was over.
