Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

I had my first technical round of interview as Sr. Android developer with Tech Mahindra and It went well. How long does it take to know about the result. Also how many rounds are there? The interviewer refused to say his name nor he appeared on video in the interview. Is that the company policy? Tech Mahindra
I have also recently cleared all interview rounds in TCS & HR Shared 'Salary Breakup'. Still, my status in the iBegin portal is not changing from 'Evaluation in Progress' to 'Evaluated' & so on, even after uploading all required documents. They had initiated the process 2 times, 1st on 16th Nov and 2nd on 24th. Please let me know, how long it will take to release the final offer letter. Thanks

Why would u even offer to login while on vacation? Life tip: never do that! Lol
Kinda your fault. If you let them, people will take all of your free time to keep theirs.
Yeah, bad move. Set your boundaries and stick to them. Give an inch and they will take a mile.
You can let him know that it would take you X amount of time and you do not have enough time with given your personal schedule.
You can set expectations with him by only responding emails that need quick answer but not doing real work, and tell him you will get to it once you are back from PTO.
It's your fault. Stop saying you can be available on PTO. I do it too and it's my fault when I end up wasting my vacation on work. They won't know to leave you alone if you're actively saying you want to help while you're out.
Doesnt matter his fault or not. He is looking for advice on how to turn it around. Not to hear ..."your fault " OP..just email ur mgr and let him know ur plans changed and you will be in a no cell phone or internet zone.
Answered some of his urgent requests during 1st week and now he expects I work some heavy load during the 2nd. Anything I can do to alter the expectation or is it all my faults for saying I could do some work in the first place
I’d also only take PTO for exactly the hours I’m actually on vacation though. Ie if you’re working, bill that shit
Do your due diligence to provide people with the tools for them to cover you.
Never log in if you are on vacation.
If something is missed or messed up while you're gone, the machine will keep going. You need to be transparent that the team members currently were incapable of doing the work you needed them to do.
OP get your life back. Don't be a slave to the wheel. Straight up #sad just reading this
Agree with m1 and atk1
Thank you EY1 and M1. Both are very helpful. I planned on working the 2nd week for some hours when I booked the PTO, but definitely not full time. I will email him Monday to clarify my availability doesn't allow me to complete what he's asking for.
