I need to perform well after months of bad performance for 6 months to not get fired I'm scared but want to do it impossible?

Do consultants get fired from a client for moving furniture around? (like a stand alone monitor) from an unused room he was given to sit, supposedly reserved for auditors. Asking for a friend 🙃

Had a glowing fantastic performance review last year. This year no review, just a meeting with managing partner and HR to tell me I am fired and to leave now. No bad performance. Is it just the money?

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

Does anyone here work for Carvana? I’ve had a recruiter reach out about a position several times but know they just went through some layoffs. Have they recovered and are they on a good track or is there still a lot of risk?

How am I expected to bill 1900 hours when I only have 8 cases and when I ask for work no one responds. I even asked the partner in person for work and he said he was slow and didn’t have anything for me.This month I’ve only billed 80 hrs. Its making me anxious because I don’t want to get fired for low hours but also I’m a first year so will they have some mercy on me? Lol

Working from home since march 2020, got promoted December, department had a major reorg couple of months back, responsibilities increased, work increased, hours increased. I'm feeling a lot of anger towards my manager (now he's acting normal but there were moments where he was condescending/dismissive/mocked my and others work/arrogant/said stuff was "wrong" constantly/belittling the difficulty of tasks etc. in the past project).
Maybe it is "standard chewing out" but it bothered me a lot. So much that I find myself still getting all fired up inside thinking about it...
