We're looking for a Senior AD who wants to produce lots of TV with crazy talented writers, a great REMOTE work-life balance and very few layers. You'll have access to C level daily. Most briefs are one, sometimes two teams and you'll produce what gets bought. Sound good?
If so please send your CV to Jsimotics@digobrands.com.

Exactly this.
If you’re desperate for work, take it. Also is your overhead lower because you live in one of those smaller cities) and therefor is the pinch as acute?
I personally hate that talent should be paid based on zip code but if you’re desperate and it’s still workable, take the job.
One thing about advertising is given the instability, shorter tenure isn’t as much of a red flag as in some other industries, or at least more easily explained (agency restricting, client losses, etc.)
If you’re living in a cheaper city, can still save for retirement and it’s a decent nontoxic gig, take the remote. Money isn’t everything!
**half what you were making because it's a smaller city and lower title
I def would be living paycheck to paycheck bc my rent takes up a loooot hahah
