So I was laid off in April. I've been searching and I have to say, this job market has been strange.

I interviewed with a company yesterday and was so excited but then she drops on me the base is $30-40k (huh?) with an OTE of $120k (that's better but still the base) and here's the kicker - it's a 1099 for the first 3 months then you can chose to switch to a W2 employee. Also they have 100 employees but don't offer benefits??? Is that even legal? Any insight into what is going on here?

I interviewed for a role with the Enterprise Risk Team at EY. I told them my salary requirements were $105 k before the interview. They said it should be ok if I'm brought in as a Senior 1. After the interview, they said they want to bring me in as a Staff2 at $84k with $3k signing bonus. I'm trying to get on a call to negotiate further...do these numbers sound right to you all?

First time BDR here 3 months into my role and really struggling to book qualified meetings. The BDR that had my territory last was one of the worst performing on the team and since he inherited a new territory he’s been a top performer. Even my AE’s fully acknowledge how difficult it is to build a good pipeline in this territory. Any advice?
