I think cognizant has the worst HRs, like i dropped an email a couple of weeks ago to re-negotiate my offer but they didn't care to respond. A trusted colleague once told me that no one will ever be as tough on her, as she is on her. That was all I needed to hear to let go because it’s so true. No one will ever hold you to a higher standard than you hold yourself, and part of maintaining that standard is boundaries and disconnecting. If you are always on and not saying no to work you can’t handle, not taking breaks, etc., your work will suffer and you will be letting yourself down. So hold yourself to your highest standard, including the self care that comes with that.
