I don't have experience with Minoxidil but I have had similar issues and used Nutrafol and seen huge results. It may not work for everyone but Nutrafol has truly been the secret to overcoming my hormonal hair loss
Second for Nutrafol
Topical? It stains / bleaches anything that comes in contact with it
I take oral minoxidil, 32F. I had very thick hair before covid and then about 1/4 of it fell out, resulting in very thin hair. I have tons of new growth and am very happy. Just be aware that it makes you grow hair everywhere - not just on your head. I didn’t mind cause I’m also doing laser treatments.
It did a bit but it was totally worth it.
I took oral minoxidil and stopped. I started getting hair thinning but I’m pretty hairy on my body. The minoxidil made my hair grow EVERYWHERE. I got laser hair removal before taking it and my body hair grew back. I even grew long back hair. When I stopped taking it it went back to normal. Since I’m naturally hairy and it made my hair grow everywhere, not just my head, it wasn’t worth it for me.
Don’t plunge!! Do Not Dive into Lake minoxidil lol! In all seriousness, though, it’s not a path I’ll go down myself and advise others similarly. Especially women with a confirmed underlying hormone imbalance.
It’s important to remember what minoxidil is, and that’s Rogaine. Firstly, it isn’t effective in treating all types of female hair loss. Second, if any benefit is seen, it’s not because minoxidil is an effective treatment for the condition of hair loss; it’s an effective treatment for the effects of the condition of hair loss. Stop the Rogaine, and you find things exactly how you left them before. It’s really just the mouse wheel of options with a whole lot of effort to go nowhere. With icky and commonly experienced side effects. So like running on the wheel while being pummeled by cubes of cheese.
My hair used to be thick, and I had noticed significant thinning in college. I tried minoxidil but didn't like the side effects, so I stopped using it. My hair was breaking and severely damaged, so much so that my stylist wouldn't let me highlight anymore and had me go back to my natural color to try to repair my hair.
I started using Harlinikken in 2020, and my results have been impressive. It begins with a consult - I did mine via video since I'm not local to any of their locations, and they create an extract based on your hair loss that you apply every night. I went with their whole system, as they recommend, using their shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in, and my hair has gotten so healthy, and there has been a noticeable change in my thinning. They take pictures during every consult so you can see your results, motivating you to keep using the extract. It is not cheap, but since it has been working, I find it worth it.
Do things that are natural to grow hair.take 1 tablespoon cocunut oil,one tablespoon olive oil, some rosemary castor oil.
You heat everything up and bring to boil then let it get cool you massage it in your hair 3 times a week and it will help you grow your hair.
