Can anyone shed some light on quant funds please? https://groww.in/mutual-funds/escorts-tax-plan-direct-growth
I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

VMFXX was only 38% exempt in 2022. Repurchase agreements and a few other things seem like they would be but are not. VUSXX was 100%.

VUSXX will not be 100% this year. They had like 40% repos for a while and just went back to 95% treasuries recently. Still better than VMFXX for state tax purposes if that applies
What is your state tax rate? The higher it is, the better VUSXX is. If you have no state tax VMFXX is slightly higher.
NP. Likely not a big difference since the rates are pretty close with no state tax. But every little bit helps.
