I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Fasting is easy... Start by eating dinner at a normal hour (say 6pm). This shouldn't be hard because the commute time to kitchen is now 4 seconds. Then skip breakfast and eat lunch at a noon. Also easy because your morning is now full up with calls. You've now successfully fasted 18 hours.
(1) I would start with 16:8 - for me 11:30-19:30 works the best. Once you get used to it you can change the ratio to 18:6. Zero app (it’s for free) is very helpful:)
(2) headspace is great, but ive never tried calm tbf
Just downloaded. This app is great! Love the ‘Learn’ section
Calm and headspace! I would recommend trying both to see which style you prefer. Calm always offers massive discounts by email a few days after you start your trial, so hold off until you get one
Thank you in advance! 🙏🏽
I love the meditation app called Breethe!
