Did 3 years audit w/ Audit Senior exp at regional firm and 2 years fed tax at big 4, 1.5 years internal audit healthcare. My strengths are more aligned with external audit (good with clients, consulting with executives/finance/acctg). I didn’t enjoy internal audit (repetitive, doesn’t feel like I’m adding any value) and Fed tax (in front of computer all day not interacting with people)

Never been in an SE or consulting or B2B sales role before but have a referral at Salesforce and have been in some informal conversations. I’m starting to freak out a bit now that maybe I can’t do it. I have a tech background so can handle that part, but perhaps strategy may be difficult. I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult. I am now interviewing for a VP Accounting role with the mortgage company that got shafted by the short sale. If I get the job offer, can they/will they see this on my credit report? Can they pull the offer due to this? Should I tell them before we advance further?
