Honestly I am glad to hear I am not the only one who can't go back to having to go into the grocery store. I absolutely hate going to the store so I do Instacart. The store is literally across the street from my house and I still refuse to go. I just hate going into the store.

Same! My hate for grocery stores is a combination of fear of a mass shooting and the ease of just clicking “refill cart with last order.” I haven’t forgotten to buy something since I started online shopping.
Strength training at home! I bought a lot of dumbbells in 2020 and 2021 and just kept going! 💪🏾
Thank you! Yes! I think so many of us take an “all or nothing” approach to exercise and that shouldn’t be the case. Only have 10-15 minutes to walk around your neighborhood? Awesome! Do it! Only have 20 minutes to do a bodyweight workout? Wonderful! Do it! Can you take 10 minutes away from your desk to walk? Walk around the house while on a call instead of sitting on the couch! Getting in shape does not need to be an hour a day, 6 times a week. Recognizing the health benefits of movement and doing it despite not being motivated or not feeling like it will take anyone far. We all go to work even when we don’t feel like it because we know the consequences of not going. It’s the same mindset with exercise.
Also, getting more steps per day is a major key for weight loss and weight maintenance!! Take the stairs when possible, park further, walk instead of drive, when feasible, take extra laps around the stores when you shop. It all counts and adds up even if it is not traditionally considered exercise!🔥
Well, I pretty do all of my shopping online or via an app. I live home delivery and curbside pickup. And I have sent a small fortune on food delivery services like DoorDash. However, the pandemic did take my young eventful fun life and turned into homebody hermit debating whether or not I want to put in real pants to participate any one event.

Same! That’s definitely a trait that I recently picked up. I can’t tell if it’s a side effect of the pandemic or if I’m just getting older. My tolerance for mediocre events is so low that I wish I could buy more 😄
Besides work or family events, it has to be pretty important to get on my calendar. Let’s not even talk about last-minute events- count me out. 😑 I wish I could be more spontaneous and open to socializing again, but something in me won’t let me
Once you go digital, it's hard to go back. I'm obsessed with note taking and productivity apps because of this. What I picked during pandemic was waking up super early. I’ve always been an early riser, but before pandemic I usually woke up at 5 am. Now I naturally wake up around 3 am and go to bed around 8 pm. It’s a pattern I have continued and I really like it.

Wow, good for you! I've always wanted to be an early bird, but I got the night owl trait instead.
