Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. Deloitte India has not yet communicated any offer, neither verbal nor formal.

If you’re on the fence about jumping to another firm or starting to look elsewhere, realize that loyalty is often only skin deep in consulting. Prioritize your career goals, whether they be financial otherwise. Praise and appreciation are nice, but don’t let ANYONE make you feel bad about choices you make for your happiness.
