Hello folks,

I am new to fishbowl and recently got an offer from Publicis Sapient for a senior associate. They are offering $136k with unlimited pto benefits. As I am from the industry and haven't heard about this company before, I would like some comments or thoughts about working for this company? How do they invest in their employees (like pay raise, promotions, etc)?

Midlevel Biglaw associate in DC (Cravath comp, top law school, V20 firm) who just got an offer for a generalist in-house role. The company is a large well-known multinational, but the role is with a new branch of the company for which there’s no salary information online. What’s a reasonable salary/salary range to expect? What about reasonable benefits/vacation/etc.? I have no reference point so any information would be helpful, including any tips for negotiating. Thank you in advance.

OR the difficult manager role that has great role, high impact, helps you learn, good skill development, average benefits, good pay (but not crazy outstanding), solid brand name BUT you don’t know the team/manager well & pay/benefits isn’t as high as the first

More about me - a 3rd year biglaw associate making $220k base salary. I'm getting burned out and I don't know how long I will be able to stay. I have been maxing my 401k, Roth IRA, and HSA. I have ~$110,000 investment and ~$40k cash.

Could someone at McKinsey explain this? My understanding is that the hierarchy at McKinsey goes from Junior Associate to Associate to Engagement Manager to Associate Partner and finally Partner. On the McKinsey career site, I see several position advertised as Consultant ("implementation consultant", "Healthcare Consultant"). Are these contract-based temporary roles? Or do these positions align more to an Engagement Manager level?

In running for VP position at a large German firm with international presence. Comp guides seem awfully low for scope of the role: base of 200k Euros base and 50% individual bonus and possibility of adding another 50% annual retention bonus kicking in in year 3. They will throw in car benefits and education fees for 2 kids on top. How does this compare to typical VP positions in Europe? Does this sound about right? Is it possible to work 1-2 years as a junior associate at a super boutique doing a combination of fraud/abuse and transactional work in the healthcare space and then lateral to biglaw to practice securities law?
