I am a lawyer applying to the McCombs MBA. I asked a more senior associate in my firm for a recommendation and was planning to ask one of the partners for another. I just realized that I can only send one recommendation, I already asked the associate for his recommendation and he already received the mail from the university. Should I cancel the associate's recommendation, let him know and submit only the partner's or should I stick to the associate’s?

Should I go back to get my MBA at 31? I am making 450k but have zero pedigree. I feel like I have hit a ceiling around network expansion which is preventing me to get into pedigree-required rooms. General thoughts and tips? Thank you

Laser focused on healthcare programs here and trying to understand the admissions system. Seems like Wharton HCM admissions is separated from general MBA (separated pool of applicants) whereas CBS HPM admissions is treated as part of general MBA (competing against one big pool of applicants). Is my understanding correct?

2. Studying for fmva certification
3. 1+ year plan is to take the GMAT & apply to ivy league mba program. Planning to break into IB and then PE later.

What are the high level arguments for Booth vs. Kellogg MBA?

How do deferred MBA admissions differ from the regular process?

- 3.87 GPA from top 50 state school
- MIS/Finance undergrad
- No GMAT (too late to prep for this admissions cycle)
- 3 years tech consulting experience (currently at consultant level)

Is it even worth it to apply to Sloan MBA? Don’t want to waste my time if it’s a stretch and may be better off just applying to Top 15.

Would love some advice… I’ve been in a private equity analyst position for 3 years (but don’t see any more growth at this firm and have received limited training) and have the opportunity to get a BD associate position for about a year before going into an MBA. Would this move to BD hurt my chances of getting back into a private equity associate position after an MBA?

I went to a state school for my BS. I’ve been in tech consulting for a little over a year and want to move out of implementation into a more strategic business role outside of the tech industry.
I’m debating between an MBA at Top 10 school or just getting an MBA from the state school I went to. There’s around a $60-70k difference in costs, but the network of a top school seems like it could make it worth paying the higher price tag. Thoughts?

Currently an M&A tax manager at a Big 4 and have been feeling pretty listless the past few months. Thinking a lot about what my next 5 years will look like.
