Actively applying for new experienced audit Associate positions at Mid-sized public firms. Currently working in the Big 4 and covid has really shown the firm’s true colors—they don’t give a sh*t about the employees. Been looking at CBIZ and Marcum.. any other suggestions? Spent 10y in Big 4 mainly in US and Europe. Interviewing for Associate Partner position with an MBB in SE Asia. Would a ~5y stint in the region be an asset if I wanted to return back to US but remain with the hiring firm? Or is it a rabbit hole?

I am an incoming third year associate in an AmLaw 20 firm at New York. Although I do enjoy the work, I’m constantly questioning myself and my abilities. The work hours are quite bad too. Just out of the blue I interviewed for an AmLaw 70 firm in New York and they extended me an offer. Any advice on the pros and cons would be really appreciated!

Anyone have experience recruiting for a growth equity associate role? What do they typically look for in interviews? How to best prepare ?

Currently an Associate at Booz making $75k in DC. 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst on software dev projects. Had an offer for $100k with Accenture but they have went cold/MIA. Have an interview with Guidehouse next week for IT/Business Strategy, Senior Consultant. Wondering how much I should ask for? I was thinking $90-100k range? Too high? On glassdoor it shows a huge range of $74k-140k for SC’s.

Looking for advice: I reached out to a McKinsey Partner and they agreed to have an intro call. I am intending to prepare my story/interest, industry/functional knowledge highlights, and questions for them.

1) What should I expect the call to involve? Mainly along the lines of “Tell me about yourself”? Perhaps a case (if yes, what type)?

My salary just got frozen @ 55.5k (SALT Tax, 1 year of experience). Should I start interviewing for other jobs? Worth it to stay 1 more year and “maybe” make senior? (PwC is 3 yrs to senior standard, 2 yr is early)

That’s great, but I was interviewing for an AC role originally; they gave me an experienced A because I bombed cases but they liked my fit.

I am a second year associate in an Italian medium-sized law firm. I have always worked in privacy\new technologies mostly with international clients (it’s been 5 years now). I love it, but - after I passed the bar exam - I feel like I need new challenges. Also, my feeling is that my career needs a boost. I am considering applying to some LLM program in the US (maybe in California). Would you recommend it? Or it doesn’t worth the effort?

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”
