I saw that a Growth Equity/PE firm is starting up a new vertical in a space I’m interested. What would be the best way to get an interview? I know an associate at the firm - worth reaching out to them to see if they’re hiring?

I’m a year overdue for my SAE promotion due to covid and business issues. I was told by my SVP that the promotion is definitely coming before EOY & I just need to “sit tight”. In the mean time I have been interviewing for an associate brand manager role for a smaller CPG company. Is it worth it to make the jump this early if my goal is to go brand side anyway? Or is it worth it to stick it out & get my promotion first? The new salary is also probably higher than my promotional raise will be too

Have a first round strategy and planning associate interview tomorrow for ZS. I heard the case is pretty quantitative. Will the math mostly center around traditional casing frameworks like market sizing, revenue generation, NPV analysis or should I be prepared for more exotic calculations?

To all new hires that came into KPMG with experience, I wanted to ask how much were you able to negotiate from the initial offer in terms of %? If you were a high performer in the interview that would be helpful as well. Running into a case where the initial offer is lower than market average but it’s on the high side of the salary band for the position. It’s a senior associate position and it’s an engineering role.

Hello, I have an interview for a risk audit associate at the tampa acceleration center PwC. I have heard mixed things about the acceleration center and was wondering if any one could clarify.

Is the risk audit associate consider an associate or specialist? And is pay similar to associate and follows the same promotion pattern, 3 years to senior then so on. I understand the acceleration center is bad but I'm just trying to understand what I applied for and will be interviewing for.

Submitted my app to McK a week ago for Associate level. Haven’t received comms yet. Is it fair to say that recruiters declined to interview?

My final interview was scheduled for a associate solutions architect role back on the 24th when the recruiter emailed me and said they had to pause interview activity on the position due to some recent changes.

Is this normal? They didn’t give any context and only said they hope to reschedule interviews in the near future

My current resume is full of litigation experience from law school, since my resume is written for applying to lit positions. On the one hand, it bolsters my legal experience. On the other, it’s not relevant to this role. Do I cut?

Hello! I just passed the patent bar a couple of months ago so I'm applying to my first patent agent roles. However, I only have a masters in law, not a JD, so I have no summer associate experience, and every position wants experience first. How did some of you other patent agents get your first positions if you've never worked in a law firm before? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

I was not promoted to senior associate. I came in as an experienced hire and due to some timing issues with hire date and reviews, I didn’t demonstrate enough in time. I am generally well liked at my office. My goal is to transition to transaction advisory externally. How bad will not being promoted hurt me in applying for these positions once they open up?
