I’m interested in learning about the interview process for an Associate Technical Program Manager at Salesforce. If you have any insight into this or what it’s like to work at Salesforce, please let me know. All advice is greatly appreciated!

How do you handle a situation where a hiring manager sees an interviewee and immediately doesn't like them so they decline to interview? The hiring manager is a higher up exec looking for an assistant

interviewing with kpmg, i thought i’d have one manager, director, then a partner interview. but i’ve got another director interview. kinda nervous now, since i gave a good performance on my last interview and was just hoping to finish off with my partner interview. Coming from non consulting role, so any tips on my interviews would be appreciated as would any jokes and non-serious answers.

Hiring manager wants to set up time a week after your last interview to discuss feedback…what should I expect?

So a recruiter reached out to me for a role and wants to set up an interview in the next couple of weeks. Separately a manager from the same company who I previously knew/worked with from another company reached out and wanted to just talk and connect about the role before my interview. Since we chatted I haven’t heard anything from the recruiter about a scheduled interview. Thoughts?

Needed some info regarding work in Oracle. What activites and development are part of day to day in OCI Consumer team at Oracle, any info would be helpful like the if they actually work on new development or only copy paste stuff and only managing the deployment for OCI team. Also how much is java used. I am interviewing for Data Science/ ML engineering role but the manager asked to brush up java for product development. So wanted to understand from current employees

How important is it to actually have the number of years of work ex in PM job postings? Most Sr PM roles look for 5. I will have 3.5 yrs PM + 7 yrs of consulting when I apply next year. I manage my own vertical, handle Engg, Jira, PMM, Webinars, everything.

Should I wait another year to be at 4.5 before applying? Don't want a lateral move, only promo & cash.
Happy where I am currently, though underpaid and overworked, it's still good work exp with good team, a good manager & complex product.

Currently SC at D, got an "offer" from Cisco G11 level Program Manager role. 7>yoe + master's in CS + Lots of cloud and agile certs. Interestingly, HR was not willing to provide any compensation package details before hearing what I want. Im super bad at negotiating, Any thoughts on how to approach this?
Unfortunately I already provided some numbers based on my other interviews and my current base and he was so surprised since I was stll willing to get a 15-20% increase lol

I have worked 8+ years in HR and Staffing for the EPC industry - looking to make a move to the consulting industry. I'm in advanced stages of interviews with Deloitte for a Human Capital (GPS) Senior Consultant role and with PwC for a Resource/Deployment Manager position. They are two completely different roles and I think I could be happy in either - any insight from current HC Consultants/Managers at Deloitte or Resource/Deployment Managers at PwC? So a company I interviewed with took me to the final round but rejected me for an architect role. Then, two months later the hiring manager hits me up for a manager role he thought I would be a good fit before the job was posted. We had a call and he said he thought I would be a long shot replying back to him. Also, he said everyone liked me and no need to interview. He said he has to post it and let HR do their thing before he can make a final decision. Why post a job if you want me for it?

I have a but of a situation. Just started a job as a Sr associate and found out a program manager was hired a month earlier who has equivalent exp/education as me. I like my job but feel that I shouldn’t be in a more junior role than this manager since we have very similar backgrounds. I interviewed for this role after they had already hired the program manager (I didn’t know at the time I was interviewing). Thoughts on what I can do?

What’s the interview process for a consulting manager at EY?

I'm interviewing for an L4 Finance position. I did well on my first round interview with the hiring manager and recruiter reach out following day to setup a second round with a different stakeholder. It has been 3 days now since my second round interview and no updates from recruiter.

If you don't hear back from recruiter within a few days, is it safe to assume your candidacy will not be moving forward? I don't want to keep my hopes up only to be disappointed by a rejection ☹️

Help! I have a T2 offer & need to hurry for the final decision. I also have a pending offer from AWS and I’m expecting an offer @ Netflix. Both Netflix and AWS are aware that I have the offer. AWS is rushing the final process (they need to put me in touch with a team manager in a different division before the offer). Netflix is silent for a week but i was told on last call that I passed the onsite interview and they wanted me on a higher/mgr level with a different team too. What would you do?

Currently in financial services tax WAM federal group at B4, manager. Seriously considering the exit and have been applying actively in various industries (not the typical PE or hedge funds in house role). Which industry is the best in terms of growth opportunities and pay? Fintech? Info/technology? E-learning? My end goal is becoming a head of tax and I want to choose my first industry role wisely. Don't want to get pigeonholed into a dying industry.
