Can anyone suggest what's the interview process for Amazon in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka or Andhra Pradesh for a Data Engineer role.

What technologies should I be familiar with in order to crack the interview. Is data structures and algorithms a must learn to crack a data engineer role?

I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role. I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.). Additionally, while I’ve worked with McKinsey, Accenture, McKesson, and other teams on major projects, I don’t have experience putting together the strategy, more of a support function. Feeling a tad intimidated! Any tips would be so very appreciated!

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.

Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale. I’m stuck in my old pay scale but have gotten promotions and raises quickly with more on the horizon. A recruiter reached out with a new role for 2-2.5x more than I currently make doing something similar. I love my company and the people I work with but the money isn’t there. Is it worth trying to get a counter to stay if I get the bigger offer?

Is CIPD a valuable certification? Is it appreciated in Europe only or US too? I have an opportunity to get it but not sure if knowledge is really up to date and worth time spent.
