The associate I’m working with starts every 3rd sentence with I don’t want to tell you how to do your job or some variation of a personal attack. Any advice on how to handle over eager/confident peers? They’ve already made comments to the client about thier role within the project, and it’s getting to a point where I feel like the engagement leader should be getting involved, but they’re hands off in that regards.

Anyone exit into a manager or sr. associate org effectiveness or org strategy role at a tech company? What would you expect in terms of TC? Like $175k+ or is that unrealistic?
Folks who have done this kind of exit, where do these roles sit in the org? Do they roll up to HR or into a different part of the org? I'm wondering what career trajectory looks like after that.

Is there any real exit opportunities for an executive compensation/employee benefits junior associate? I see a handful of employment in-house counsel roles and some compensation in-house roles — but those either require 7+ years of experience or some sort of employment/litigation experience (which i never do). I had a five-year Big Law plan, but i don’t think I can make it that long!

Going into my A3 year in audit. Finally taking CPAs but have only passed one so far. Got an offer for FDD associate role at another B4 firm. Is it dumb to leave for associate role or should I not expect a senior role without the experience or CPA?

Current Assurance associate at PwC, was offered an M&A consulting role at Deloitte. PwC is trying to get me to transition to CMAAS instead. Salary is the same. From a reputation standpoint which offer is better

From 1 of the auto mailers I noticed Capgemini is offering me B1 position (associate consultant)
By the time I compete my notice period I'll have total 4 YOE. So shouldn't it be B2(consultant) atleast?
And do I need to discuss this before receiving offer letter or post that?

Wanted to see what my chances are to be considered for a big law associate position. Graduated from a crap law school that’s since shut down. Didn’t make cum laude but I was a law review editor. Been practicing for 1.5 years, started in a boutique law firm in OC and got a ton of experience, now at a mid-size firm where I have a similar level of responsibility but for more $. Still getting paid under $100k and I want to make more $ to pay off my loans faster. What are my chances?

Is there a specific way to approach recruiters from Bain, BCG and McK? I'm trying to apply for roles at Senior Associate level across these organizations, but am unable to elicit a response from any of the recruiters/talent acquisition folks here.

Anyone have any thoughts on working cross country from your firm? I’ve been offered a lateral role working remotely with a CA office with the understanding that if as a senior associate they’d be interested in considering me for partner I’d relocate and that I will travel to the office for 2 weeks a quarter to work with the team. No other candidates made it to the reference stage but the firm ended up not extending an offer. References went well (they told me) and it’s more of a timing thing and waiting for a 2022 start. Want to move from IT infra presales(cloud, dc, network, dwp,network etc) to a core consulting role. But everwhere I keep getting rejected saying tht my profile is too IT inclined.
I am in the business of selling services and not actually a dc engineer or network sme, yet recruiters don't seem to understand.

Are Booz Allen salaries heavily anchored by YOE?

I'm getting pitched 120-140k for 3 YOE and MS with data science. Not sure if I'm being lowballed but TC I'm being pitched for at competitive tech companies (not FAANG or equivalents but still selective) seem to be 25-50% higher. It's a Lead Associate role.
