I’m a product marketer looking to switch into PM. I’m in the interview process for a senior PM role, but the product is not that exciting and I’m a little concerned the company is stale (it’s a legacy product and the company has been around for a while). Would it be worth it to get the PM title? (Alternatively, I’m considering taking a senior PMM or even PMM director role at a series A startup and then making the move to PM later on.) what’s the better move here?

Curious for insight from others with similar experiences. I was at a national firm for 4 years, left due to burn out for a corporate accounting position, hated it. Came back to public at a regional firm, where I’ve been for just over a year. Im already getting burnt out again and doing WAY more than my salary should expect. I have an interview next week with PwC for Sales Director (MSFT Security). Im looking for any advice on the PwC sales process and environment.. also, im a more senior guy, but it seems Director at PwC is an IC position. I recently got a second chance to interview for a a role I recently applied to. After talking to the recruiter, she told me that my answers were contradictory to my careers goals and my delivery was very choppy. I also said a lot of um and uhs during my deliverance of answers. Reached out to the talent manager and a creative director via LinkedIn, about an open role I applied for at an agency I’m super interested in. Did this about 3 days ago. Do you think I overstepped? I know that wasn’t super long ago—how long should I wait before following up? Should I follow up by email? Would that even be appropriate? Looking for advice- On a one deep project with a Managing Director as top cover one day per week. Project ends end of April. I accepted a role with a new company and plan on 30 March being my last day. Should I just give my 2 weeks and bounce, or should I give extra notice so they can find someone to replace me? Staying on longer than April 1 is not an option

I have spent 24 months as an Associate. Looking to transition to a startup. Should I be aiming for a director role( requires 6 years of experience and mine is closer to 5) or a manager ?

Always baffled how in America we hire a director and an editor separately for the most part. And that many directors don’t supervise the edit. If you hire a director, aren’t you hiring for the vision they bring? And if so, wouldn’t you want that to translate thru the edit? In some other parts of the world the director has in house editors and it’s an orchestrated thing.

I've been told performance bonus is (up to) 15%. I have two other offers, one of which is a director or pricing position with base close to $200k, 12% perf bonus, no RSUs.

I’m in serious conversations with a well-funded, late stage startup about a director-level product role. Salary data for companies at this stage is hard to come by. What is a reasonable range to expect?

As the years-long #2 in the Finance and Admin part of my organization, I've been asked to submit my salary requirements for a role as Finance Director with a fast-track to Sr. Finance Director. I function as a Controller and head of HR for a company of ~70, I oversee a team of 2 accountants and an administrative assistant. I've been undercompensated for the last year and a half... is it nuts to ask for a 25% increase?

Anyone move from industry to EY-P recently? Looking at a Director or Senior Director role and wondering if anyone has offer data points

Initial offer of 155k came from CVS for Director level role, with up to 20% yearly bonus and upto 40k yearly equity.
Is this reasonable? Saw salary of 170k on average for the same role. I am based out of Minneapolis by the way.

Help, please. What does comp look like for a Director role in a corporate function (Finance, HR, IT) not in a T1 or T2 city? Glassdoor is all over the place and afraid of asking too high and filtering myself out.
