All the PM's out there - what level, city, and salary are you at? I feel like PM's reacha certain level and plateau - there's no opportunity to make as much as account(def not creative) is that true?

How do you interpret “Years of experience“ in salary surveys and reports?
Here’s an example. Does a Creative Director with 7+ yrs of experience have 7+ yrs in the role of a Creative Director? Or does that 7 yrs include their work as a Senior Designer?
