What is the salary range for a first year senior manager with 10+ years of experience at EY? If it helps it is in a major city.

I am a L10 at Accenture and am on track for promotion to L9 by the fall. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to stick around for the new salary and the network I’ve built here or if I should switch to another firm. I’m considering an Associate position with KPMG offering around $85K with likely promotion to Senior Associate in around a year (2022) and a Consultant position with EY offering $110K with likely promotion to manager in around 2 years (2023). I currently make $82K + bonus. Thoughts?

Any advice for a 1st yr who has managed to bring in a decent amount of business (mid 6 figures)? How best to protect myself and not let partners/senior associates take advantage of the situation. Also - will the business I’ve brought in help me in case I don’t meet my billable hour requirement for bonus eligibility at the end of the year? I started off in a practice group that was extremely slow in January and February and now am in another (by choice) that has been busy March, April, May.

Received a verbal offer - can you negotiate the title?

The company hired someone who was a Senior Associate at my firm as a Consultant last year - I am a Consultant so would expect to come in as at least a Consultant. Typically it looks like one needs 3 YOE for the Consultant and I have ~2 years 9 months so close.

At the same time, the compensation is still a raise, the company is more prestigious, and the role is in the city I want so want to take it but don’t want to shortchange myself.

I got verbal offer from Deloitte USDC for Senior solution specialist role , they are offering me $120k with a signing bonus of $5k and potential bonus upto 9% in 2022 ($0-$10,800). I asked for $130k and 10k joining bonus. I got the reply I need to leave room to grow economically and 130k will not leave that room and joining bonus will remain $5k. Is there scope of negotiation and how much of 9% bonus we generally get ? I am on H1B.

6th year attorney here. Will be seeking a raise. We are a small firm with steady billable litigation work. An associate just left, who we won’t be replacing, freeing up their entire amount of salary plus insurance costs etc. I’m currently just below $100k/year plus a $10k Christmas bonus. I’m a senior associate at an Amlaw100 firm in a specialty group. The vast majority of what we do is compliance, with a deal sprinkled in once in a while. Thinking of lateraling to an Amlaw 30 firm because the comp gap is enormous. I’m solidly on partner track at my firm - next 2 years or so - but the pay at the other firm is higher than the junior partner at my firm. New role would involve significantly more deal work. Generally what’s the salary bump between junior to mid level and then mid level to senior?

Hi EY fish, what would total comp look like in excess of base salary? My understanding it would be bonus and the pension? What is the targeted bonus % for senior?

Currently a first year senior in Forensics. Got an offer from boutique IT consulting firm with 22.25% increase in base salary. Pros: opportunity to be on projects involving digital transformation (tech stuff). Cons: small company. Yay or nay?

If you’re a campus hire, what made you choose deloitte over other firms/b4 firms assuming you had other offers? You don’t get a bonus until you hit senior and tiny raises. I don’t think many other firms/big 4 do that right?
