Looking for referrals on affordable, competent TPAs for SoloKs over $250k and traditional unbundled 401ks. Looking for Illinois and SoCal, but if they are good I don't care where they are located, if they can do Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

People who do all job interviews on Zoom, get hired on Zoom and begin working on Zoom: how do companies know that YOU are actually YOU?

Do y’all think Zoom is here to stay? Feel like Microsoft would be able to take them on using Teams video chat function (since most companies have office and teams already). What’s their competitive edge?

Feeling totally used and need advice. Got in the final for what would have been a dream job (not now of course) and was asked to complete a pretty robust assignment for a launch strategy for a startup. I did everything, over-delivered really, a framework, launch strategy, platform analysis, and even an influencer piece (at their request). I had to present via Skype to the hiring manager and leadership. Only the hiring manager showed up. It caught me off guard (I know, rookie mistake) CONT’D...

I love teaching art but am having to teach remotely to 1150 kids, k - 5. Have about 54 amazing elementary art teachers in my district that share SO much! I could retire (34 yrs), but just don’t want to because I love what I do! I’ve been with Accenture for 10 years and starting to get a few bites outside. Do you still wear suits to a interview or zoom call or is business casual ok? Years ago it was always suits but not sure about 2020. Not an executive role.

I have a zoom interview with an investment bank this afternoon. Does anyone have any idea what the dress code is? I would assume suit and tie but not sure because it’s on zoom.

Do any of you use an external camera or external audio setup for zoom calls? If yes, can you share product links or set up images. Since WFH might be going on for a while, wondering if a small investment could help improve the grainy video, lighting issues, etc. I would like to present myself in the best way I can!

How are you developing client relationships when in-person networking is out?

I'm used to hanging out with my clients frequently, grabbing coffee, stopping by the office, etc. Zoom/Hangouts meetings just feel really awkward and it's difficult switching from business development which was 90% IRL to nearly all online... Especially when I run a 1-person shop.

Started b school today. Long awaited work vacation, chance to meet others, explore new topics, and have an incredible experience has morphed into a poorly planned unpredictable zoom mess. Can’t help but feel disappointed :( I have been trying to staying neutral and somewhat positive but today’s first day experience has me anxious that this opportunity will be somewhat squandered bc of Covid.
