What's your rent? $1500/month for a single in SF, I hate my life

I have 20 days left in my notice period and I would like to know or get advised on how many days prior to joining date/led should I finalize the company from among the offers and what is a respectful time to intimate other companies that I will not be able to join their company.

Of course exceptions like last minute opportunity with a good firm or offer revision is there but in general what should be a corporate appropriate timeline.

Would you recommed someone to continue working if they dont like the team and the work culture?

I joined a Big 4 back in October last year and I hate working here. The culture, work quality literally everything about the team repulses me. The only good thing was the 50% hike I got over my previous pay. Can I start looking out again? If yes, how much hike can I ask?

From TCS background team, one person called me and asking me to share the screen by opening UAN portal regarding service history.

The problem is I've not mentioned couple of companies experience at beginning of my career since that experience is irrelevant to what I'm working now. So my question is how to answer if he ask what about other companies relieving letter and all?

In big law going on 6 years and I’ve always met my hours, but lately, cannot get enough work to keep busy. It’s been slow for some time, but I didn’t notice because I was working on matters in other offices. Is it time to move on? Are people really going to be laid off for not hitting hrs?

How many matters is typical for one associate to handle (BL lit)? I know it is group-specific, but just trying to get a general idea. I’m a 2nd year and I am the only associate staffed on about 30 cases-meaning I keep track of all deadlines, do all day to day assignments, keep on top of following up with client/OC, and all research/drafting. Partners handle deps/court but that is about it. Is this a normal case load to be responsible for as a jr? I being dramatic by thinking this is too much?
