Take a break from your work until you finally had the feeling that you are missing what you do. If not, then maybe you need to make a career change.
I think it is best to identify and explore your passions. What are you truly passionate about? Reflect on what makes you happy and excited and explore ways to incorporate these interests into your life.
Take the time to evaluate yourself and your life. Ask yourself questions such as: What do I want to accomplish? What skills do I have that I can use to my advantage?
Gather your thoughts and set your goals. Once you have identified your passions and reflected on your life, set yourself some achievable goals. Make sure these goals are realistic, measurable and achievable.
Take risks and try new things. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, as this can be a great learning experience. Be open to change and take steps to move in a new direction.
My suggestion would be to get organized and prioritize your time. This will help you focus on the goals you have set for yourself.
First of all, Find your support system. Find people who will support you and help you along the way. Having a supportive network of friends and family is key when you are trying to reinvent yourself.
It never hurts to look for exit opportunities and see if something sounds more exciting to you. Life is short! No need to stay in a job you can't stand. :) Follow your heart when researching new opportunities.
Totally relate to this post, OP. The only reason I'm staying with my company is that they allow me to WFH, and the pay is good for what I do. However, I have started exploring side avenues to make extra income, and once I get to where I know it's a stable source of income, I may leave for my own sanity. Don't be afraid to take up new challenges if it comes down to it. That's the best way to reinvent yourself.
