Anyone actually keep their PHR active? I got my cert in 2013 and have done nothing since.

I’m keeping my SPHR active currently because it was my original certification, my SHRM-SCP is grandfathered. Unsure when to let it go...

like

Same here... expensive to keep up both, but letting the SPHR go feels unsettling to me.

Same here! It certainly was helpful as far as getting me to critically think about situations but that's about it.

Yeah, I'm with you. Don't keep it active either

I renewed my SPHR once after completing it in 2010. So I guess it’s been expired a few years now. I don’t think it’s necessary to keep it active. It’s good to note as an achievement.

I am currently a medical biller and coder that just graduated. I am currently in an entry level position because I am still studying to get certified. I will have a year's work of exp in July and will sign a contract for another year because my boss is training me in more I don't know.

I'm wondering what the pay is for someone in my position without certification. I live with family and want to afford to move out but I am single and only make $18/hr. Is that standard or am I being underpaid?

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Yet again no luck whatsoever, just finding jobs as budtenders or running a dispensary. Does anyone know where I can find research-based cannabis jobs? I have a degree in horticulture with lab experience.

What would be the appropriate steps to take in this situation? Thank you for any advice!
