For the past month I’ve been eating only from 12-8. Eating salads for lunch and whatever garbage for dinner. I feel less bloated and have dropped about 3-4 lbs in a month
Oh and traveling: it's made it easier. I dont eat 😂 going out: tell people im not hungry or say i already ate. I order a diet soda and deflect 💪😎
Been doing it since January. Currently doing 22/2
22 hours nothing and 2 hours eating? Whattt
Lol so how I do it: hunger comes in waves. When it hits, drink tea (or coffee: caffeine good to curb) and it disspirates. Tiredness: not really. I drink coffee and as long as I'm staying busy I'm good. Taking vitamins is also good
20lbs?! That’s amazing SA! You’re my inspiration. Wow I can barely do the 16/8 - and cheat like once a week haha
Thanks guys!! ☺ I started on 16/8, worked to 20/4, and now on 22/2. So takes time. I have one "cheat"/week - only on 22/2, which is my hibachi 💜😂 but honestly - stuck at ~19%. Not sure how to break possible plateau...
And what r your results?
Uhhhh SA1- which hours, and how many calories do you eat in a day??
Yes, 22 fasted/2 feasting. I eat after PM workout ~1500 cals. 29 y/o female at ~18/19% BF
Wtf SA1 how the hell do you manage that don’t you get hungry or tired ?
dissipates*
Ok wow and it hasn’t hurt your workouts or performance. I’m surprised but proud of your willpower. You seem amazing. What does your 1500 calories make up us nutrition wise
I take C4 (preworkout) to help but ya: mostly willpower. Diet is high (lean) protein and veggies (low carb). Been on it for awhile - seems to work. 18/19% isn't final goal but dropped ~27 total to date (IF implemented after ~20 dropped)
Lol EY1, I do the same - cheat once a week 🙌🏻 but I do 20/4.
OP- Been doing it for 3 weeks now. Feel less bloated, more active/energized throughout the day. Enjoying it so far!
SA1 - that's so awesome! how do you manage 22/2 with all the traveling?
How do you manage going out with friends / drinking and such? Haha I feel like that’s my struggle. I did 20/4 for a while but it became too much struggling to going out for meals
SA1, did you see a significant difference after you switched from 16/8 to 20/4? And was it always 1500 cals?
Good question - not sure. Think it's still cals in/cals out. Have been around 1500 for awhile. Thinking of upping cals to build
I tried it last year for 2 months and it was really hard at first but then it got easier and surprisingly, the snacking cravings went away. Overall, I didn’t shed any massive weight, maybe 5 pounds and this may be TMI, but I stopped getting my period soooo I wouldn’t recommend it
SA1 come back and mention how long you haven't had your period! I know folks were oohing and ahhing but sometimes it's just not right for your body's normal functions.
