Currently a first year analyst with a TS/SCI full scope clearance. Yet at my firm I’m paid the same as my uncleared peers because you don’t receive a clearance bonus until a few years down the road. Are there places where I could receive a big pay bump for my clearance or since I’m so new to the game would it be wiser to stick around even without any reward for the clearance?

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this?
