I'll sometimes plan to do things during the weekend but I gotta plan it out at least a week in advance. Most of the time I just want to rest up before doing it all over again.
I will try to have a "fun" event for the family on Saturday, usually between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Go to the public playground, grab some burgers or fried chicken, possibly catch a matinee at the cinema, things like that. Saturday afternoon is pure rest and relaxation, nothing more strenuous than clicking the button on the remote to find a TV show for me and my husband to watch. Sunday morning is church, lunch usually at a sit-down restaurant, and then routine housework in the afternoon to get ready for the next week.
I hateeeee having my weekends spoken for. I like being free as a bird and deciding on a whim if I want to go out and do something or if I want to engage in couch rot
I have a lot of chronic health conditions, so prioritize at least one day to relax. Other day I do errands and work my side gig for extra money. I use that side gig to help kind of fill my time and make extra money.

I honestly just take one day at a time. If I have to plan anything I would rather do it on Saturday even though Saturday is my rest day
