Yeah many times.All you need to do is to encourage clients to disclose security information, it is critical to establish trust, explain the importance of security, ensure confidentiality, ask open-ended questions, and translate complex jargon into simpler terms. Finding a happy medium between security and privacy is critical. It works for me though.
Oh gosh, yes! I always try to make them understand why security questions are important, and how they can help protect their account and their data. I also emphasize that I'm not asking them to give out any confidential or sensitive information, but just basic security questions that can help authenticate their identity. To make them more comfortable, I also offer to provide additional verification methods, such as a two-factor authentication system.
To be fair, if a number called me asking for security info I wouldn't give it to them either. To some extent, I understand their lack of trust.
