In the upcoming fiscal year of 2022, the USCIS has made calculations on the number of H-1B visas to offer to randomly selected applicants based on acceptances, rejections, and revocations provided for previous years. The initial lottery selection for the H-1B registrants was provided for in March 2021.

Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

Don’t underestimate how important that is - people buy from people. I think you need to have command of the product, as well as the relationship skills. Sometimes that can be 1 person, sometimes that can be 2+ people.
I’ve worked with people that remind me of Tom, but weren’t actually good with people. That became evident to leadership over time and they got cut
Either that or one who's good at the product and selling but gets on your nerve if you missed a task.
Being a skilled courier is one thing, but imagine the possibilities if they could actually contribute some technical know-how to the mix. Maybe it's worth gently nudging the powers that be about the potential benefits of having RMs who are a bit more in the know.
