Partner wrote to me today saying he saw an associate bonus memo go out today and that he wanted to make sure I was all good on that end? Not really sure what this means ? Is this an invitation to ask for more? this is my first bonus season. Any insight would be helpful.

Been thinking about this for quite some time now (currently an associate) - why might I work so hard to sell as >= Manager in consulting for a salary and (v competitive) bonus when I could go so sales full time with opportunity for way more in commission?
