For those working in the Federal Government, do you like your health insurance options?

Are they affordable for those starting out and is it easy to find doctors who take your insurance?

The feds have a surfeit of health insurance options, off the top of my head there are >20 nationwide plans to choose from.

Those plans span the gamut from cheap-ish to expensive, and the doctor coverage also spans the gamut from limited to pretty much near-universal.

It’s looking like my job is gonna start asking us to return to the office. I have few queries can anyone please help me regarding this.
In ELSS mutual the total we can save save tax is 1.5lakh. Do we need to invest yearly 1.5 lakh yearly to save tax? I am planning to have a Sip of 5000 monthly for 3 years. So total money invested in 3 years will be around 60000 * 3 = 180000.
Will that be sufficient to save tax or Do I need to have a sip of 12000 per month to save tax.

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.
