Guys I’m doing keto (~20g carbs/less that 100g fat/50g protein) a day and I’m not losing weight...........it’s been 3 weeks.......help

It can take up to 7 days. I have lost 4 lbs and it is my 7th day. Also YMMV. The wight you lose in ftist few weeks is mostly water.

The protein to fat seems a little low to me. Did you use a macro calculator to figure that out? Also, how many calories a day are you eating?

I use this app called Carb Manager that helps me maintain my.macros. has a pretty decent database of foods with nutrition details F/SF/Carbs/Protein/Cholesterol etc.

PS- I use Cronometer. I’ve found that it shows a lot more metrics versus competitors. It’s slightly more tedious to get set up but once you do it’s 🔥

Are you eating a lot of dairy?

Get the strips, sometimes you can run into hidden carbs

Are you tracking macros? Are you using the ketomojo blood tester? What’s your ketone levels at? Your %s are not correct either. 70-75% fat, 15-20% protein, 5-10% carbs.

If you aren’t in keto and haven’t cheated in 3 weeks, you’re doing something very wrong

I didn’t lose any weight the first two weeks - maybe a pound or two up and down, but stick with it! I’m now down 7.5 pounds down since June 1 and didn’t really get into ketosis for the first two weeks (according to urine strips).

Based on these macros your calorie max is only about 1180 cals, you might not be eating enough! I would also up protein a little since your only around 16%.

Just stick to it and don’t worry about the weight loss right now. Hopefully you’re seeing other benefits outside the sale (less bloating, more energy, less hungry). I’ve read it takes at least 3-4 weeks to become fat adapted so you’re probably just not quite there yet. Also add in some light cardio if you don’t already!

I’m definitely in ketosis. I have the strips and it shows I’m at the highest level of ketosis. I did use a macro calculator (maybe I’ll use a different one? Can someone recommend a better site?) and as of now I’m full at just under or at 1000 calories.

Keto urine strips are useless and not a very good identifier - if you’re serious about it get a blood tester and calculate you GKI

Also, if you are showing as purple on the Keto sticks (highest level), you may be dehydrated.

I’m on the high side of the BMI scale and really want to prioritize healthy movement. Trying to have faith but my recent cycle netted 16 eggs, 8 fertilized and only 2 made it to day 5 for testing. There were 3 others that just didn’t mature. This is my third cycle and I’ve been pretty positive up until today. It’s especially hard to get this news in the middle of a work day. Feel like I’ve hit a plateau at 18 lbs total over 2 months. I keep it under 20g carbs per day. Have an indulgence maybe every 2 weeks (usually during a work event, gotta have a beer with the ‘bros’)
