Has anyone been fired? Recently happened to me and I'm struggling with how to deal with it. Like how do I tell my SO, parents, friends?

I was laid off this month from a US-based company where I've been a reporter for the past 3 years or so... I live in Europe. I wonder if I'm likely to have luck with other remote-friendly US companies. Or are we already past that?

How to tell your firm that you are lateraling to a different firm? Feel like it’s not going to go well.

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time. I am trying to do my best even with very little direction and this supervisor constantly harassing my about things like her not being able to use google meet or to remember passwords. I feel bullied and very anxious. I am afraid she can jeopardize my visa with a bad evaluation. I have been working at midnight, on Sunday mornings but I am human, I make mistakes, she just blames me instead of teaching.

One of my senior managers is a boomerang and told me she was laid off when she was 7 months pregnant about 10 years ago. I think she was a senior or manager. She was in a specific group and everybody was laid off. It wasn’t performance based.

Would you work at your company again if you were laid off?

I seem to go through this cycle where I'll try to fix a problem, fix it and then go back to my old ways. I'm trying to fight against it but basically my performance review is coming up and I think it's likely I'm going to be let go because of my failure to meet expectations. Earlier in the year I was going through a rough time and working through it, I have gotten better over the course of the year but I feel it's not enough. I got fired from my last job. Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking

I’m a midlevel at an AmLaw 20 firm and have twice been the principal drafter of something only to be cut from the signature block. The associate senior to me is on it despite having done far less of the work. And it’s not because it required a rewrite or something. The filed product is 80-90% my work. Am I wrong to be pissed off about this?
