How to deal with an egoistic manager?

I am so sick and fed up with some of the older clients at my job. I know it's my responsibility to take care of them, but they're just so sexist sometimes.

What do you do when a store manager let's a cashier.walk all over the assistant manager? Dm isn't any help. I'm at my wits end! Store manager sticks up for cashier every single time. I've offered to give that cashier my keys . I'm so done with trying to do right, only to have manager make up excuses.

Am I the only social worker/therapist who doesn’t work well with being assigned to do last minute paperwork? I’m a very organized person, both personally and professionally and this has been challenging for me in a professional setting. How would you present this to your supervisor who continues to not understand? Any feedback is appreciated 😊

Yesterday I officially got diagnosed with ADHD and MDD. I knew that I was feeling depressed but somehow getting diagnosed made me feel worse. I feel like I am a big failure. I had a mental breakdown yesterday night. This morning I woke up and cried for an hour at least. I had worse times in my life but this somehow feels like a trap I will never be able to escape. Relatively new position at a coveted firm as their Marketing and BD manager. Have suffered burnout and depressive episodes previously: can feel the symptoms raising it’s head. Most importantly, struggling to tolerate how directors speak to me, whereas previously I wouldn’t take it personally and get on with it. Actively looking for a different position as I’ve come to discover this company exploits EME employees, but want to attempt to end on a “high note”.

I just learned I was parentified severely, especially emotionally. The discovery came from outside of therapy, but having a place every week to sit down, slow down & reflect def led to it. Being enmeshed with my parents like this was a cause for my anxiety, low self esteem and workaholic, people pleasing tendencies. I'm working on extricating myself and finding my identity again in a way that will be easy on my conscience and values..so I'm learning! Please dont hesitate to go to therapy!...
