I am 30M from Kolkata and currently working in Bangalore. I still haven't decided if I wanted to settle and retire in Bangalore (as family asks to settle in Kol even if it gives me less salary). But I still want to buy a flat. Given my dicy situation and the over valued prices of Bangalore real estates, will it be a good idea to try to purchase a flat in Kolkata? I tell myself that in case I decide to stay in Bangalore in long term, I can sell Kol flat and buy one in BLR. What's your opinion?

Let's say a person join a company X and then switches to Y after few years. Again switches to company Z after few months. Now the thing is both the previous employers provided Pf but the new company Z which is still growing doesn't have a pf contribution since it is starting out in india. What would happen to existing PF accounts if not withdrawn , will it earn interest? What would i need to do as an employee? Any timelines to follow?

I made a mistake starting SIP in a ULIP. Used to invest 7500 per month starting from November 2018. I have discontinued my premium payments since last year. That is when my fund was moved to an interim surrender state and now it earns 4% per annum interest.

After 5 years of lock-in that is November 2023, can i withdraw the entire amount at a time? (Of course after paying surrender charges)
