Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

I am really sorry you are feeling this way. 4 months of applying with no offer can take such a toll on your confidence, and I hope you know this is not a reflection of your worth or capability.
The market is genuinely difficult right now. Many strong candidates are applying for months, getting little to no response, or going through multiple interview stages only to be passed over. It is definitely emotionally exhausting, especially when you are doing everything you are supposed to do and still not seeing movement.
Please do not lose hope, even though I know that is easier said than done. Sometimes it is not about being unqualified. It can be timing, volume of applicants, internal candidates, budget changes, roles being paused, or companies being extremely selective.
My gentle advice would be to take a short break if you need one, then come back with a more focused strategy. Tailor your resume for the roles that truly fit, reach out directly to recruiters or hiring managers where possible, lean on your network, and consider contract or temporary roles if they can help get you back in motion.
You are not alone in this. This market is discouraging many talented people. Do not lose hope.

I applying all you're doing? That's the least effective way to find a job.
Did you build and nurture a professional network? If so, are you leveraging it? Have you joined your local SHRM chapter? If so, are you going to all their meetings and volunteering to be on one of their committees?
Does your resume highlight your accomplishments, and not just a list of your duties at past jobs? How is your resume making you stand out from everyone else with the same experience?
Are you researching the companies you're applying to in LinkedIn, to see if any of your connections works there or knows someone who does who can help your application get human eyes on it?
This is a tough job market for sure, and merely applying to posted jobs won't be as effective as networking, volunteering, and researching. Good luck!
Can you get a temp job? I know they aren’t used as much. But great to fill your resume and a little more than unemployment.
Hang in there! I’m going on three years and 3 months with 22 years of experience.
I have interviewed with several companies making it through to the final rounds in person, hybrid, and remote opportunities.
