I left before I wanted to - to be closer to my wife's family. She was so unhappy while I was in the military. I'm unhappy because I didn't want that chapter of my life to end; I feel incredibly resentful. I guess I need to vent because I feel so sad that this period of my life didn't last long, and I feel jealous of others who are still in the service.

One of ex’s friends who is I met twice, has been in touch, him and his wife, like commenting on some of my posts occasionally (we are just fb friends and IG friends). I never saw them since.
