I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

Gotten Adderall earlier in my career.
What are they? I was prescribed. I did not take them... I don't plan to... but I wanted to know the pros and cons from someone using...
If I had the same tools and resources I did at the time, probably not much.
If I could be who I am now, with my adhd diagnosis, years of effective therapy to get myself sorted on the trauma and reactivity that was holding me back - a whole helluva lot.

Pick Squirtle instead of charmander
Spot on. The path to a successful career is not to do what everyone else blindly thinks is best, but actually to choose the path that makes you most competitive vs. what everyone else chose. It’s about playing the career meta game.
That’s what you meant right?

No tax llm lol. Litigation and I just hate the petty arguing over nonsense. I think a lot of it has to do with the esq egos. Law firm culture also sucks.
Start working in 2022 as new analysts are getting paid more than my current salary as a 27 year old
I've been in this industry for 5 years now and folks with 2 yoe are earning more than me doing less impactful work than me. This is sooo fk d up. Damn..

Don’t regret majoring in accounting
Honestly don’t regret going to a small college
If I had to do it all over again - I would have immediately after graduation enrolled in a ms - information systems, data science, or business analytics. Given that my full attention to get to 150 college credit hours
I ended up working while getting my ms in taxation. Honestly, that just drained me. Also, I see a huge need for people that know something about tech and accounting.

Work harder to get better grades in law school and get better internships so I could have a better job now that I’m graduated and passed the Bar exam.
Or gotten in and stayed in better shape so I could have joined and made a career out of the military.

I’m 61 so that would take way to long to answer. Happy where I am now in nonprofit leadership but I could write a book on the path that got me here.
M1 got the right idea there.
