Stealth layoffs at CWT confirmed.
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

All I can say is WOW. Pretty serious offense, regardless of magnitude. Not sure OP seems remorseful enough or has grasped the magnitude if s/he is asking about "if the firm will forget in a bit". Nuts.
HR makes a check for any prior violations. I've ensured that they are especially diligent as it appears there's someone trying to bluff their way into a rehire. I've reached out to a couple of colleagues in non-Partnership firms and alerted them to this. They're following up with their HR.
Someone got fired and now they're trying to falsify their way back in. Speaks to integrity, fidelity and voracity. I don't want someone with a compromised ethical compass in a firm that I'm an owner of. It's that simple.
You weren't laid off my friend. You were fired for stealing. You are minimizing this by being smug. Do you know right from wrong? Any integrity at all?
I know someone at D who was let go for claiming car service when it was really her boyfriend picking her up and charging it to his Square device. They were pocketing all the charges.
Okay I just forwarded this thread to Mark Weinberger, Tim Ryan, Lynne Doughtie, and Cathy Engelbert. It's all over for you OP.
Plenty of talented people prepared to comply with policy
What did you do???????????????????

There is a database for that....
Must confess - I'm watching this car crash with a lurid fascination now....
i am dying to know what OP did. need a burner OP? 🤔
People need to stop offering OP advise, especially when they won't answer he question as to what they Expensed or exactly what happened.
They should let us know (in a vague manner as to not out them) what they did so we can all take precautions so we don't fuck up like they did.
OP.... for the 11th time, what did you do? ..............
I’m guessing expense fraud over a long period of time.
There was a comma missing here.
If you get laid, off of an expense violation, will the firm forget in a couple of years ?
Seeing you're tight lipped ... I'm gonna assume your charges wasn't just a meal of 20 bucks but something more to 2000 bucks?
They won’t fire for a very minor expense violation. Must be a major one or one that collects over a long period of time. OP’s post seems suspicious. Hmm.
Seen small expense violations lead to firing as a way to get rid of an under performer, or cut costs without having to jump through all the hoops of documenting performance based firing / unemployment insurance costs.
Not saying that's you, just a scenario I've seen.
Basically the expectation at ey seems like : eat at mcdonalds for breakfast, no lunch, hope you make it to finner
maybe it depends on the magnitude of the violations (e.g false booking a meeting room space and you get $3k in cash vs. charging lunch for bfast which usually you just need to pay them back). thats why i asked how severe your violation was. and agree with D2
He's gone guys. As of this moment, he is on a plane heading to see Morgan Freeman on some random island to build a boat.
😂🤣😂🤣😂
M4: that's for me to know and OP to fear...
What happened! Did they ask you to pay it back and you said "fuck you, pay me."
P2, I think you're taking this a little too far
Yee haw!
