Most “profit sharing” plans are basically an additional company contribution to the 401(k). And it is normally given to everyone regardless of election
It’s basically all pros in that case
Or are you referring to something else? Seems strange you would need to make an election
^ 2nd this. They are discretionary contributions (optional for the company to distribute) in addition to the 401k. Usually the company determines the amount regardless of your election.
ESPP if the company is public. The 10-15% discount is well worth buying the stock...
