Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him. I find this incredibly uncomfortable and selfish given it will put me and my fiancé in an uncomfortable position (and it will also put my elderly parents and other vulnerable fam members at risk). I miss music. Like actual bands with instruments and vocal ability. Feels like the music industry is so hollowed out that multi-member instrumental bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and even Metallica are no longer able to take root.

There are a few talented individual singers (Adele) a lot of awful mumble rappers, but no actual bands that will stand the test of time. Before I get called a Boomer, the problems with the music industry for new artists are well documented.

Went to a funeral today, wife’s oldest friend 42 non smoker, non drinker, did yoga and was a vegetarian and probably the nicest person I have met… went back to the house husband wanted a drink opened a top shelf bottle cause why not? Sometimes the stuff we discuss here is so trivial but what I remembered today is open the good stuff, enjoy it with people you love and tell them you love them. Tomorrow is not guaranteed
