What are you doing to “AI Proof” your career? Do you think marketing is “safe” from AI? We know that companies will look to leverage AI as a way to make things cheaper and faster, any thoughts on how that will impact marketing overall?

My thoughts are that it will come into play for those that create content like blogs, emails, social and even design. I can see the strategic side being more “safe” but you never know. What’s your plan?

What types of work accommodations can help people with ADHD? I am starting to believe 35+ of having not managed my ADHD has really negatively impacted me in career growth etc. I'm realizing a lot of things about myself are because of the ADHD. I want better for myself and family but 1. I don't enjoy the same things forever 2. Imposter syndrome and RSD make me believe it's acceptable to start over in new places at low salaries. 3. Typical college won't work for me. 4. I also can't relocate.

I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

PwC A3 here in currently in PCS, but looking to make a transfer into ITS after spring busy season, as well as switch offices. What’s the best way to go about this? Not receiving a ton of support from my local office. Can I get staffed on an ITS project before making the transfer to get “my foot in the door,” or is that not a thing? I’m still trying to process seeing an agency exec well known for dismissing and ignoring POC held up as an exemplary diversity champion for women at the 3% Conference.

If I got a raise for every micro aggression I’ve received while at my current agency, I’d be in a really high income bracket! Hah.

After 15 years in the industry, I can really say that these last few years have been the most challenging in terms of navigating all the sensitivity and political correctness.

I guess I’m officially being off boarded team doesn’t care no one has said anything … I’m a ball of nerves thankfully my old company wants me back — feeling so sad and angry and just incredibly nervous

Counterpoint: I’m one of the few POC at a large agency and it’s really dope to be seen as an example of why agency diversity makes the work better. Any struggle outside of that is minor.

Is there any industry recognition for poc creatives the way adage and others recognize creatives?
