Any one familiar with comp for a Portfolio Associate roll at PIMCO on their mortgage backed securities team? I’m looking at an offer and want make sure I’m in line with the average comp for the company and industry. Only 4 months of experience and offer is 98k w/ 10-20% bonus plus 15k relo/ sign on. Looking at Glassdoor, bonuses seem higher than quoted by the hiring manager. (No written offer yet they say they’re still working on it)

Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

I doubt it. I think people kind of innately understand that grocery stores are a low margin business.
I’m highly conditioned to think my landlord is trying to screw me, however.

They've always been landlords. Nothing new there.
People who price gouge on things that you need to survive?
You hate the landlord because they charge too much for something you can’t do without. With food prices going up are you going to hate the grocery store too?
I mean, Kroger isn’t the only grocery gouging prices and we’re in a thread about the landlord analogy.
Last time I checked - you can't just take food without paying for it. I have a buddy who's tenant hasn't paid rent in 23 months and there's nothing he can do about it...
